I went out Thursday afternoon to a “honeyhole” dock on the folly river trying to catch some sheephead before that storm rolled through, I didn’t have my usual luck of finding fiddlers but found a few to get started on. Before I knew it I had 3 sheephead on the stringer and released another 3 just as big and I was having to leave early because the rain and lighting started.
Went out today to my same “honeyhole” dock today with some friends and let’s just say the bite was on again. I was pulled under the dock twice and there was no stopping him before he broke me off. We had 3 girls hook into their first ever sheephead and even all the guys got to bring a few decent ones up. We ended up keeping another 3 today and releasing another 10-11. Overall 2 great trips with some great hookups and fights.
