Ventured out Tuesday with my good buddy Joe, headed up the Intercostal in Search of the Elusive Convict. We found them, rigged the J&T Jig with a size 1/0 Mosquito and fished away. Caught around 25 in a 3 hour spread around high tide.

Haddrell’s Point Tackle it’s the J&T EZ Split Ring Jig. Not necessary to catch them but definitely makes it a little easier I think.
Good deal, Simon. Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does that jig do? Does it just add more action to whatever’s at the end of the line, or what?

Doesn’t provide any action just skips tying in a swivel and a hook including them all in one.

Fiddlers? I have heard that oysters or clams recently but never tried it…i need to get one of those rigs.
Yeah Fiddlers. They wouldn’t touch clams we tried. We didn’t try oysters though.
