Couldn’t stand the weather so i called Waterboy and dusted off the Bug Catcher.Had to catch our own bait as all the shops were out of Fiddlers. Caught about 20 in a few hrs in 40’,most very nice this one weighed in @ 9.11lbs. Awesome day on the water.
If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
When you fish for Sheeps in the deeper water like that, do you fish tight on the structure or on the bottom near it ?

Tight to the structure, that deep wind and current dictate were u end up. We anchored up 5/6 times before getting over the structure. We prefer to chum and use a very short Carolina rig. The ledges in 40/60’ all hold good sheeps now. Diving has shown the fish move up and down the ledges in schools, if you can get anchored over the ledge they will come back time and time again. I will say if you don’t get bite right away, move. We never moved once we got anchored, bite was steady.
