Headed out in the chilly start yesterday with my buddy Jace in search of some sheeps. Got to the ramp about 8:15 and the sheeps were hungry and waiting at the honey hole. Caught about 25 total keeping 6…catching alot around the 14" so decided to only keep one at the minimum…keeping only ones 15" and bigger…biggest was 20" with a few at 17-18"…great non-stop action all day. Decided to try and get some variety in the box, so tried to catch some reds or trout towards the end of the day…hooked up with a nice 30+" red that I could barely turn with the shimano sahara 2500…only to have him cut me off in the oysters…why its called fishing I suppose…nothing bugs me like losing fish though…Great day of fishing though…Caught a bunch of perfect fishing size shrimp as well…Awesome day on the water…
