I had to go down to hilton head to get some mouth surgery, so i figured id make the best of it and drag the boat down. My brother is living down there now so i stayed at his house and took him out. Not being familiar with hilton head area, i stuck to the basics. I went out back, found some fiddlers, then hit the water and found some bridges. We went out friday night(just to mess around), and caught nothing but mullets. woke up the next morning, went back to same bridge at low tide, scraped off some barnicels, and it was on. we caught them non-stop until i had to get out from under the bridge as the tide was coming up. Most were just under 14 inches but managed to find 3 keepers. brought them back home, cooked them over the fire pit at the barn, and made some tacos. all in all, bueatiful weather and nice to get my brother out in to some salt water, he’s hooked now.
