Sheepshead Like Clams

Did well with them Sunday at the jetties - - they have to work harder at eating them them than they do with fiddlers. Kept the 3.5 black drum and the 7.0 sheepshead; threw back the smaller sheeps and the BSB’s. Big clams; more tough meat to hook with.

man this is so 2008.

paperclips is where its at now

put a clam on a paperclip and it’s like Christmas…

Match the hatch- look for paper clips around where you are fishing and try to imitate those.

As for brand, ask the guys at office depot- local guys shop there all the time, and they have been selling near-shore office supplies for years

hahahahahahah

you guys are soooo slow…been using clams for years…actually keep a small can in my tackle box for emergency sheephead sighting…really…

amateurs

pfffffftttttttt…paper clips:yawning_face:…rookie move…I use a more high tech method myself…with a top secret bait that I will finally disclose…jigging motion enhances this…but must move line back and forth in a zig zag motion at exactly 23 inchs above the water at all times for best results…

and this little guy…hey…where’d he go???:flushed:

Really///those hermit crabs are awesoome bait!!! like candy to a bass especially!
