Hey guys another rig question. What rig yall use for sheeps? I have the owner mosquito hooks and small circle hooks. I also like to vertically fish to reduce snags. thanks!

Carolina rig, vary your egg sinker depending on current, usually 1/2 oz will do on docks, if fishing by bridges or large piers and there is a fast current you can use anything from 1-3oz. egg sinkers, just depends.

Light travel’s faster than sound. This is why some people appear smart until you hear them speak.

owner mosquito j hook style…size 1 for small fish and 2/0 for bigger ones. Short leader…carolina rigged with weight depending on current and depth

Did they remove the law that said you have to use circle hooks for sheepshead? If so I’m going to buy some mor mosquito hooks right now.

Three-fourths of the Earth’s surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

Yes they did, removed the law, and placed a size limit on the sheepshead

I saw the new size limit I just wasn’t sure about the hook law. Did they remove that law for the entire snapper/grouper complex?

If I remeber correctly they just removed sheepshead from the snapper grouper complex. Do y’all think thses big tides will affect the sheepshead fishing? I’m fly fishing the tides but want another option if I get to frustrated!

In my opinion I think the big tides are messing up all the fishing. Few of these fish are in thier “normal” spots.
