Sheepshead Seminar

I have been wanting to attend one of the many seminars conducted at Haddrells but it seems most are during the week. I finally had the opportunity to go to one today and was glad to attend. John talked to us about sheepshead fishing and it was very interesting and informative. I have never fished for sheeps and did not have a clue as to how to even start. While there is no guarantee that I will catch anything, I at least have a starting point now. My thanks to John and Haddrells!

John knows his sheep fishin…still trying to get him to carry some paperclips though…

DFreedom, did you see stickman in the seminar? pretty sure he was there too and gained lots of knowledge as well…

Hmm, there were some other fellows there but none that I would describe as a stick. Not familiar with him. As for paperclips, darn, I wish I had remembered that topic, I would have loved to ask his position on paperclips and sheep fishing. I did not see any for sale.

I was indeed there. Incognito apparently. Glad to hear oysters working well- since we live so close to public beds. Hey you still have all leftovers from the roast?

Are you guys making fun of my hat?
I was (am) Stickman. Live in the Stickhouse. Brother of the Stonehouse…but that’s another story.

I was in the back row, not the guy with Xmas tie, nor the guy whose 17 footer needs gelcoat work, just the guy nearest the doorway.

I too can only make the weekend seminars, so happy they had one! See you out by a bridge piling or over a reef.

Ok, now I know which one you were. Funny, you don’t look like your picture.

Hes gained weight.

I didn’t always look like a little red X in the top left corner of a box either. Guess it’s time to upload a new pic. Perhaps over Xmas weekend.

Just seeing this-

I appreciate ya’ll coming out, and the kind words.

Dfreedom, it was nice meeting ya’ll.

Feel free to give me a shout at the shop or shoot me a PM if you ever have any questions.

The bite has been good as of late.

Fish are too valuable to be caught only once.

Hoping to try the oysters, and your advice, at 4 KI this weekend. Thanks for sharing!

Took your advice, clams from a local creek taken out to 4KI. Dropped over tug in 40’ water and got back a 4+ # sheep. Fed 4 for dinner. Dense fog rolled in so had to return (GPS only- couldn’t see Kiawah even coming though Stono Inlet).
