Anybody know how big the winning fish was? Surprised we haven’t seen anything on here yet.
9.24 won it. I was very surprised that there was not multiple double digit fish weighed in as nice as it was coupled with the water staying cool longer. There were 27 boats at Caper reef at one point! Hard to beleieve a 10lb+ fish wasn’t pulled out of there! My buddy came in 4th with a 7.62. Plenty of fish out there, just all between 3 and 6lbs.
Don’t know where it was caught, but the biggest dogfish I have ever seen in my life (40 years of fishing these tournaments) was weighed in. It was 3.98 lbs!

Thanks.
We fished inshore and caught about 18, but none over 3 lbs. Wish they would have a sheephead tourney in the fall. Much more big boys inshore that time of the year.
