Nice day. So many boats and dolphins in the harbor. Great bait in what seems to be a great spot with the tide how I like it too but no bueno so far. Do dolphins ruin sheephead fishing like other fishing? Never had them this close to structure.

I caught around a dozen on the first hour of the flood this afternoon, all short. Pulled off a couple that might’ve been 15-16". Nothing like it was before the cold snap, but the water is like 52 and coming off huge tides and full moon… the drop in temp and big moon should be guiding the adults offshore for the spawn so I figure it’s gonna be a lot slower inshore for a few months. Trout bite should be great next week though!
