I think of these guys as spring and fall fish. Would I be wasting my time trying to catch some sheepshead on some docks this time of year?

A lot of folks make the ol sheep out to be way more elusive then they are. There are plenty to be caught. Like tennis said, bring lots of bait.
I’ve never caught one…or even fished for them…where’s the best place to try and what’s the best bait ?
