Are Sheepshead still around this time of year? I haven’t seen any reports on them lately… just wondering if this is still a good time to go out and try to target them.
Sheephead are always here.

They’re always here but i personally enjoy trying for them during cooler weather , too hot with a lot of joy riders rocking the boat along with paddle boarders around a lot of the dock/pier structure !!! Its just me, i don’t like competing with the crowds

Actually Joe i usually come down and fish for them. Havent been down lately due to me traveling and diving in Florida. I am actually going to Beaufort to fish Friday and Saturday and thinking about hitting Charleston early Sunday morning to Sheephead fish. Will make an report if i do…
Don’t limit yourselves to just docks and pilings. A good blow down will hold plenty and get pressured much less. You’ll also pick up some endangered red drum in those too.
