Fished for a couple hours today in upper shem creek and boy was the water nasty. That oil spill really did a number on the water. Reall sad.I even saw a couple of guys swimming with their dog, but of course as soon as I told them about the spill the got out. Hope they do not get sick. Fished all artificals and ended up with…
4 reds
2 trout
4 flouder
Everything was between 12-16 inches.
I saw a bunch of reds in the grass today, but could not get any to hit.
(10/29)Got to work this morning and found out i had been looking at the wrong schedule. What does that mean??? Other than getting home really late tonight, fishing:smiley: I fished from 11-2pm on shem creek and did fairly well despite low water. I even managed to find a couple of “lagoons” that were only accessable by yak that held huge amounts of finger mullet. I poled around assuming the reds were not far behind and to my surprise there were flounder back deep in the grass. The reds were too shy to cast to, but did manage two flounder. Its been good fishing out there latley, but i am getting tired of catching small fish.
6 reds 13-16"
1 trout 8"
4 flounder 10-15" (lost one that looked 18-19")
1 Lady fish 14"
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. </font id=“size2”> Hobie Adventure Kayak </font id=“size2”>

Are you free Saturday morning? Thinking about going exploring in the yak and trying to stick a couple of trout or flounder with the new March Brown fly rod.
There is nothing - absolutely nothing- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. Kenneth Grahame
