Anyone have knowledge of the Shimano 2500 ULTEGRA FB vs ULTEGRA spinning reel?
Looking for 2500/3000 for trout and reds.
The F stands for front drag and the B means it is second gen from the A version, which likely doesn’t even have an A. Hope this helps.

I know stepping up to the Vanford is a bigger jump but well worth it. The Vandford reel is a sealed reel and last much longer in a saltwater.
