hit the channel today with hopes of an early may king bite with a bonus cobia. no such luck. had no bites from kings ,cobes or spanish, but did have a nice fight from a 7 to 8 ft hammerhead. hit the way back double haden with mylar skirt. nice fight on tld 15 with 20 mono.

Where were you - shipping channel around the jetties? I tried trolling some spoons through there friday afternoon- not a bite.

with the heat wave we are on it should not be long the water temp is on the rise. Don’t get discouraged should only be a few weeks until the kings are in at the shipping channel. Spanish are hear know kings are not far behind.

this past week I read the water temp near and around Fort. S was around 73
we caught 4 kings and a dolphin in a 100ft down south on the drift line while bottom fishin. used sardines wont be long b4 they are in the channel.
you all trolling from the jetties to the charleston 60 or just hauling ass out there and trolling around the 60?
