Bro in law and I hit shipping channel first thing Sunday am. Started pulling live baits right out of rocks and trolled up and down shipping channel for 3-4 hours. Only managed 1 small 20lb king.
Water was pretty choppy early and we got bounced around a good bit but layed down late morning but still no more bites
Hope to hit it again couple more days this week depending on sea conditions

We went offshore Saturday (7/12). Yesterday I went to the harbor to catch live bait for king fishing, but my Super Pro was tangled. Got that fixed today and may try again after these storms pass through. I will likely head out Thursday, but may try something sooner if the weather breaks. I’ll probably be meat fishing for smaller kings and testing my livewell. We have a crew coming Th night, so we’ll be heading out to the ledge Friday (weather permitting). If you’re out, give us a shout.
