got a late start, go out on the water about 1:00 saturday. loaded up with bait in one cast right off of fort sumpter. started trolling right outside the jetties right on the edge of the shipping channel, circled the near shore reef and came back into the channel hooked up with a king right at the tide change at 2:50. kept comming back inshore and hooked up with about a 10 inch blue fish. put him on a rig and put him way back and got on the tide line. a few minutes later he got slammed (thought we had a nice king, because he about spooled me right off the rip.) got him to the boat. it was a shark. all in all it was a fun day on the water with friends.
i thought that was you greg…and yes it is the one that you left from the mt. pleasant tourney. it was sitting in billy’s storage yard and i borrowed it. it did not work to good, all the bait died in it within 30 minutes. hows your new boat doing.? yall been doing any fun fishing. i know yall have been busy with tournaments…
