Has anybody had any luck in the shipping channel lately? Thinking of going out tomorrow and trying it out.
What type of fishing are you trying to do? Spanish, bull reds, sharks? My Dad and I went there Saturday afternoon and caught 2 reds, 36" and 30" back to back in a span of 30 minutes and never caught another fish. Not one shark, bsb, or even an oyster toad fish. If you’re talking about catching spanish then we didn’t have any luck with those either. Went to the tip of the jetties to try but it was a little too rough for our 15’ boat. Attempted to troll with some spoons but couldn’t get real close and it was too rough for that too. But it was worth the 2 reds we caught…
thrird marker out we caught lots of little bsb, a couple shark, whiting and one heck of a toad fish on the edge of the channel…but nothing else. grandaughter had fun though
