Wow. That’s a nice trout! Biggest I’ve ever caught was 6lbs.

Wow! I thought the picture was fake when I first looked at it. I’m still a little skeptical…

The Gulf is trout heaven. I caught a 27.5 and a 25" fish in the same afternoon in the Gulfport, Ms small craft harbor. I ate them but have multiple good pics…gonna get a replica mount. My best in SC is 23". I shutter to think of the size of fish that would come out of Louisiana if they would go from 25 to 15 fish per day.

That’s a big enough fish that it didn’t need the severe “push” for sure. It is a great fish though

Something not right with that photo, proportionally that fish is much larger than 28" when compared to the size of that guy. Also where is his right hand, shouldn’t it be under the fish to hold it up???

I think his other hand is under the gill plate

Didn’t realize our state record was 11 lbs. Faked photo or not 8lb is a nice one.

“Thar She blows”

When you hold a fish close to your chest, the pic looks normal. When you extend your arms almost straight out, the pic looks weirdly disproportional. Bob

I’m going with your explanation, my apologies for being critical. That guy is a second generation guide and that is one trophy catch.

that one prolly even put up a fight LOL…NICE!

“Fish On”

Here are some pigs for ya. One 7lbs the other 8lbs. Caught em in NC of Camp Lejeune when I was stationed there. I caught them in the fall. I wish I would have caught them in the spring, they would have been heavier.
