Picked up my dozen herring and hit the water a little after 9 Friday morning to work Beard’s Creek for a couple hours pulling a couple boards and a float. No activity in the shallower water but finally marked several concentrations in 30 feet water off of a subcreek branch off. Managed 5 shorts (all of whom thought they were much bigger) and 4 other strikes. The bigger ones will come, but it was still a nice day on the water in December. Not bad for 12 baits.
