The new F25 yamaha is the way to go. Super spunky little motor. Down to 132 lbs and fuel injected. We have done alot with them and have gotten good ■■■■■■■■. Yamaha has the promo until 11/19 where you can get a rebate AND a 6 yr warranty.

Well, I took advantage of Yammy’s offer of $300 discount and six year warranty and traded in my 25 for the new model F25.
Could have added t&t to the old one for less cash; but that would have added more weight to an engine that was already heavy.
Advantages of F25:
-approx 50 pounds lighter
-pull start-had remove cover and other parts to use it on old engine
-injected vs carbed
-shift lever on tiller handle
-trolling switch-850-1050 rpms
Disadvantages:
-engine vibrates at low speeds-stops at higher rpms-not a big deal
-t&t release is buried at front of engine-hard to find
F25 pushes my Jon at the same speeds as the old one-26&30mph.
Had hoped to pick up a knot or two-not the case.
Worth the change for me-others may not consider it worthwhile.
