work took longer than I wanted it to as always but had planned to fish with my dad and woman in the evening. Finally got pointed in the right direction hoping to catch the tide coming out the grass. We got there and it was still deep in the grass. No go on the bait so we tied on some lures. Tried a few spots and I managed one. Sun was getting low so it was time to do something fast. Went to the money hole and 3 cast 3 fish. Passed that lure off to dear ole dad and took the one he had zero hits on. few casts later hes on a fish! mission accomplished… had planned to get a few oysters to cook with the waning light so one more cast for me. Threw to the mouth of a creek that was almost dry and on the retrieve the rod nearly got ripped out of my hands. with the line screaming all around me I knew this wasnt one of the schoolies. Ten minutes later a 36" red that had to be as wore out as I was surfaces. Put my hand on him to bring him in the boat and he didnt like that! Pop went the line and my releasing job got real easy
