Show and tail

I have some down time at work and was hoping some people would like to show or tale us some of there favorite add on’s to the kayaks…

Mine would def be my gigging lights.

I made a rod holder out of PVC, then painted it. It really useful.

What are you fishing for from a yak that you would need a tld25?

Tld 25; cheap, great line capacity, and 10lbs of drag. Not pictured is my homemade spear gaff…
…for haters.

I was wondering same on the TLD25. Its a nice rod to have. I don’t have any outfits in that category. It does have 22 lbs max drag, however. I guess if you take the yak to Miami, you’re setup to troll offshore! And here, Kings are coming around soon, so good luck!

HUGE PICTURE!

The only thing I added to my Cuda is a fish finder and am extra rod holder. I think it’s cool what people have done with their kayaks. But, if I was going to go gigging I’d buy a jon boat. If I wanted to sail I’d buy a sailboat. Again, I don’t mean to take away anything that people have done to their kayaks. To each their own and the engineering and thought that went into some of these modifications is impressive.

Holy PVC Batman!!!

Anybody can set sail in a sailboat. However setting sail in a bath tub… now your doing something. Yes its 100x’s easier to gig out of a jon boat, but whats the fun in that?

Oh the wonders of PVC, duck tape and Crazy Glue

What can we do next?

Nice work guys. any of you gig out of kayaks?

I think I just like building stuff out of PVC because it reminds me of erectorsets as a kid lol.
