shrimp bullies

Went out to North BB. Threw a test net and caught several porkers. Set poles and the dolphins worked up and down the line for the next two hours. Us? 1 quart
Dolohins? Probably 200 lbs. Anyone else had this problem?

That means it’s time to move somewhere else

Already had all my bait out…won’t happen again!

need to try cherry bombs!

A RattleTrap thrown in their direction and retrieved quickly will scare them off every time!

My luck I’d hang one of them big baitball eating SOB’s and lose a rattle trap and break my rod.

I’ve had them come up several times. Shrimp scatter and quit like you flipped a switch. Daytime you end up moving if they don’t leave pretty quick. For sure got to re-bait. I have had evil thoughts from that crap. At night you got a chance as they are not fond of a Qbeam in the face. I’m pretty sure they at least munch down on your baits and cause it to scatter. After they leave shrimp didn’t come back until we put out fresh bait.

I started putting a piece of metal in my bait balls,a nut or washer works fine.the reason,a few years ago a friend told me a porpoise wouldn’t hit a rod bc they could pick up on the steel hook in the bait.( disclaimer ) this is not scientific research but it either works or i got lucky the last couple years
