Shrimp call?

No luck on the browns. Saw a few jumping up in the creeks earlier this week when I didn’t have the cast net…of course, that’s the only time I see them anyway

There’s a fine line between fishing and sitting in the boat like an idiot

There are NO shrimp in Edisto. Don’t waste your time or money trying Edisto. Go elsewhere; maybe Myrtle Beach or something. No shrimp in any waters around edisto. :).

Just returned from a week’s stay in Edisto (7/13-7/20). Good numbers of small shrimp near the North Edisto mouth. Also encountered fair numbers in the marsh walking for reds towards the end of the week. There is still 51 days remaining and the trend is towards dryness. Do not despair! Happy Shrimping…

May River/Hilton Head—Thew the net about 50 times in 10 different places in the May and Cali sound…nothing. Not one (**() shrimp. BUT…just wrapped those beautiful orange tags around 10 poles yesterday. I’ll be out there come opening day!!

UPDATE!! Alright. Went gigging Sat night with not much luck. Vis was still poor. However. In several places we sat and watched the water “boil” with shrimp. Had numerous 2"-4" shrimp jump in the boat. With still over a month to grow up, we’re looking good!

last weekend in beaufort, threw the net a few times in some deeper holes, and ended up with about 5-8 pounds of small eating size shrimp

Kiawah river area last week threw net once and filled the bait bucket (10 dozen or so). All bait size.

Threw the net today around the North Edisto for trout bait. By surprise, there were a bunch of tiny shrimp shooting out. I did get a few bait size to use.
