Made a streamer brush out of a new color of Congo Hair I purchased, and decided what to tie with it, this is what I came up with. Just a variation on a craft fur shrimp.

My dad taught me a long time ago… “Say what you mean, and mean what you say”… “But be ready to back it up.”… I pretty much live by that… I try not to come across as an asshole, but sometimes it just happens…
Simon is coming along just fine, and his flies are getting better every time I see them… This fly-tying thing takes years to be good at, and a lifetime to master, assuming you ever make it that far…
But just so you know, if you post flies, I’m going to critique them… not to point out how much better than you I am, but to point out your mistakes, and tell you how to correct them… Would you rather I just sit back and say “nice job” when in fact I can actually help you make it better? Ive been lashing feathers and fur to hooks for 20 years now… (i’m only 28) so that means most of my life I have been in front of a vice… If I see something I think you can do better, I’m not only gonna tell you so, I’m going to tell you how to do it… You don’t have to listen, but, it won’t stop me from saying it…
SO, in short, don’t get all butt hurt if I call your flies out… in my own little way i’m trying to help… at least thats how I see it…
