Shrimp gone from the creeks?

Last weekend, had a little time on Saturday so I ran down to the dock on our feeder creek to the upper Wando. Time had been coming in for about 1 hour but not even near the grass yes.
Only caught a total about a 8 shrimp and they were all pretty small.
I think these recent cold fronts may have moved them out of the creeks. See ya in June little fellas.

Watched trout chase perfect bait sized shrimp of the water from 5’ deep today

I think they are still around. Last few trips I have found shrimp in the trout stomachs

Plenty of shrimp still left around here, but most are small.
