Where can I get one of those fancy shrimping baskets? Seems a whole lot easier than trying to drop them in the cooler each time.

I got mine at Haddrells. Good people.
we got a 5 dollar muck bucket or general purpose toy bucket some call at walmart and drilled 3/4 inch holes all over it. the one with rope handles on it.
I bought 2 of those big buckets (like silverinlet). Drill holes in the bottom of one. When you pull it up to dump your shrimp in the cooler, the water stays in the other bucket which you can then pour over the side. Of course I have had nothing to dump yet.

I use the laundry basket as well. works great, but I do like Bonzo’s strategy.

got my bucket at Haddrell’s also, red, works awesome about 30 bucks. i think that is a bit much but it also stores my nets when underway so there is a little multi purpose aspect to it.
I found a 15 gallon bucket in the middle of the road one day and It was just like the one my shrimping mentor had. He lives down there on the moores landing road lucky dog. But the chances of finding such a weird bucket is pretty rare I never see this type of bucket anywhere, I hear that combraco on Hwy 501 in Myrtle Beach uses them??? I also made me a hard square wire lift basket that goes inside of it to screen the shrimp out and leaves all the other trash in the bucket to dump out of the boat at the end of each set.
