is there anytime in the year in south carolina where you can use traps, to catch shrimp?

Shrimp pots or traps are prohibited. (Per DNR regs)
Well that’s what i thought. And the reason I asked.
I had heard some guys talking about doing it, and “I” didn’t want to get caught up into a prohibited act.
I always get caught…LOL
