Heard that a boat ran aground here last night around 1130pm and all the boaters were ejected. They were rescued by USCG and taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown. Hope they are OK.
Guessing this is it… Not much info but confirms it happened

Bad news for sure.
I came here looking to see if anyone knew anything else about this. I was at Red’s last night and if it was a new black Sea Fox CC with a 300, then he was there also. (Not sure, and don’t want to speculate, but I did read it was a Sea Fox). Having just bought my boat, I was checking that thing out, as it was the same color scheme as mine and was a really nice ride. I walked home around 10:30 and it was still there…
I’m new to the (boat ownership) game, but have spent many years on our water - and being out at night scares the he11 out of me. Add some beers to the mix and it’s just an even worse idea.
I hope it wasn’t, but if it was that boat and was leaving Red’s, I’m not sure how you get up that much speed between the buoys and Crab Bank. Either way, I shouldn’t be on here speculating - just a tragic accident all around. My prayers to all involved.

You scared of the dark, son?
Well, well well…
Yea man - I am. After Chad’s incident, and hitting an unmarked channel marker… Yep - the last thing I need is to put a dent in the Scout and get DL all fired up…
Now if I could ever get you out of your neck of the woods to get out on the water, it might be a different story.
When you gonna let me come scratch your powdercoat? Swing by tomorrow if y’all want…hoping the fish we caught yesterday will be cleaned/delivered by then Farm tomorrow early to plant sunflower and check out the construction of the “cabin” but back around 4 or so.
Oh, and so as to not get too far off topic, heard the dude was coming from Wappoo Cut and lived at CHM…supposedly saved the gals on the boat and then expired (heart gave out?)
Last bit of info I heard. Could be way off base, though, so…

I already put one little scratch in it… I’m good on that for the year. The fish you “caught” or “bought”?
I’m probably staying in tonight, but give me a shout after you get done playing Johnny Sunflowerseed…

Just reread article I read earlier this AM and said 25’ Sea Fox so not sure what I heard from the rumor mill is correct. Some saying he came from Red’s after picking up 2 gals for a ride.
