They’re all using the same technology but they all call it something different. It’s all a matter of frequency and power. That’s what enables them to offer products at varying price points. If you want the higher frequency/more powerful unit, you need to buy the more expensive model. I’ve sat at a dinner table with guys from Navico, Johnson Outdoors and Garmin, all at the same time, and it’s funny watching them crack up when they tell stories about people saying “such and such brand is best.” It’s quite comical how they interact when they’re together and “no one is watching.” That said, I do believe certain brands are “easier” to use than others but none of them are that difficult if you take the time to understand how to use your equipment.

VERY , VERY TRUE , AS I SAID IN MY EARLIER POST IT'S REALLY JUST A LEARNING CURVE , THE MORE YOU LEARN ABOUT YOUR UNIT THE BETTER IT WORKS . TIME SPENT LEARNING IT IS BETTER THAN MONEY SPENT TRYING TO SIMPLIFY IT... JUST SAYING!!!
