We decided to fish the MI king tournament last minute and entered the king, cobia, and dolphin divisions. Fished offshore hoping to catch a dolphin trolling and chum up a king over some structure. Caught the maui around 930 and went straight to chumming. Chummed for hours and couldnt do anything with the kings. Dropped down deep and in 25 minutes had our limit of nice scamps. The little dolphin ended up second so I can’t complain. Back at it tomorrow.
The most scamps i every caught in one day was on the boat about 15 years ago fishing with AA.
Tractor: Where was that boat 15 years ago? I’ve been fishing on it with shane for a few years now and am pretty sure it hasn’t been in MI but so long. Herd it came from Morehead before that???

I was 19 or 20 then and im 35 now. Ask Jay Bird about that day? That was the only time i fished on that boat. I worked for Robert and Jack for a long time back in the day.Man that was the good old days.
