So i posted this earlier but i am thinking ablout puttin my spare on the side of the trailer, Most bass boats have em rigged that way, so any suggestions as to where i should mount it and anything i should know or just U-bolt and lugs nuts. Thanks for the help

Dont’ put it near the axle, Side mount it near or in front of the bow. That way the spare doesn’t get dipped into the water every time you launch and delays rust/corrosion. If you have room get one of those angle mounts that ‘lifts and separates’ (sounds like a commercial) the wheel from the side of the trailer. One more thing, buy a spare axle hub complete with greased bearings and mount it with the tire just in case a bearing goes out on you.
