Sight Casting to BSB with Some Sheeps Mixed In

Had a friend on the boat from back home, he had never been to the nearshore reef before.

We ventured out to 4KI and the bite was so strong searching for Sheepshead we switched from Fiddlers to Blue Water Candy Roscoes.

The school of Black Sea Bass were following the hooked fish to the surface and you could pick out which one you wanted to catch. Actually caught a 3 man limit of Black Sea Bass which has been rare but we found them.

Then we zipped out a touch deeper and found some nice Sheepshead.

Awesome day out on a pretty ocean Saturday.

Nice, what type of lure is that in your first pic?

Blue Water Candy, Roscoe Jig, they make them from tiny to HUGE, that’s the 2oz version. I have caught a ton of fish on that guy.
