Since the blow

Has anyone ventured out since the storm? Wondering if the spots started yet. They never really had a run yet, and I have some seniors around the house that are asking for a fresh mess. I also want a few more flounder to stock the freezer with. Anyone that’s been out let us know. Thanks in advance.

We have a friend down in CG and he has fished everyday. Nothing so far along the spot line. He is pier fishing, so don’t know about the backwater. He said the water is crystal clear.

Fished Thursday with a friend. Drifted for flounder with mud minnows. Didn’t catch any and only had one flounder bite. Couldn"t find Goozeman’s honey hole. Caught a few small black bass and one weakfish. Did manage to catch 4 reds from 17.5" to 26", also on mud minnows. Saw a couple of boats anchored next to the rocks-guys were catching trout and reds. Only a few boats spot fishing-don’t think they were doing much. Trying to get back into this since retiring. Got relearn Little River. Catch’em up everyone.

Y’all quit with my honey hole already!!! LOL Man, the honey hole has played out. Time to work the rocks and docks for trouts and reds. We did fish the jetties for an hour or so Saturday afternoon, but only got one flounder(18"), one red(21"), and octopus that my 5 year old son thought was the best thing since sliced bread, and the world record oyster toad. I needed to get out, so my buddy and little man came with me. We saw a lot of folks trolling cricket cove, but didn’t see much catching. We ran a few passes with mirror lures to no avail, so we went on out so that we could fish before dark. We didn’t make it back before dark, though because we were busy catching the few fish we did. Hopefully soon, my Granddaddy is better so we can get after those spots on the ocean. Looks like that’s the only place they are biting now.
