Has anyone had one go bad? My satellite radio will not work and it has been on the baot about 3 years or so. It used to go in and out when it was working a month ago. I am wondering if the antenna could crap out and that is what needs to be replaced? anyone have this happen to theirs?
Probably best posted in the “Boats and Motors” section, but I’m sure you’ll find someone in one of the three sections you posted in who can help.
Check your connections and follow the wire as far as you can. On mine theres a filter, a little black box crimped on the line, and the wires going in were corroded on the inside. I just removed the filter and crimped the lines together and was good to go.

do you need one?
I have checked all wires. will check filter and if that doesnt hodl the problem I guess i will need to replace the antenna… so yes redeye I may need one.
I have a new one for you, but the sirius tuners do go bad as well
Just replaced on in my truck the other day. Original one was 10 years old and finding the same syle of connector and the adaptor was a pain in the butt. Google “The Satellite Store”, they have everything you could need plus fast service too.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.
