Bugger caught my fish!
Taken from kayak as he flew over taunting me. If you look close enough it appears that his middle talon is extended.
Picture is not the greatest but given that I was in a kayak, bending over backwards with a 300 mm zoom lens, I was lucky to get the Osprey in the frame.
Otherwise, I was skunked for the day.
Superb pic! Ya those osprey love to do a victory lap over us lesser fishermen!

I don’t mind an osprey or bald eagle (just because they’re pretty awesome looking birds), but I think flipper, cormarants (sp?) and Mr. Pelly are much bigger competitors.

I took this picture on Sunday while fishing in the Wando. Picture quality isn’t great, but it was taken on my phone. The eagle was eating on a fish while those buzzards were trying to steal a few scraps
