Just wondered if anyone has ever catfished with skates or stingrays. Seems like they would stay on the hook really well. I always catch a few flounder fishing and I’m gonna put them on some bush hooks and try them out.
Try it and let us know
If the cats are very active, then it probably will work OK. I’ve been in catfish so thick that they’d hit a booger on the hook. But most days (the vast, vast majority) will be days that they will want something they are accustomed to— blueback herring, cut roe shad, cut river mullet. Perhaps chicken livers or stinkbait.

Yea because there’s always dead chickens and dirty underwear floating down the river . Ive done well with left over ballyhoo before, its all about freshness with catfish. Just wondering if im the only one that’s thought of it.
