Ha! Bait balls is the primary reason. And for the record, I have no idea how to make one! I know they are sort of round, but that is about it.

Got it used. It’s a 2012. Has been up at Lake Murray. Hasn’t touched the salt yet.

When you guys see a 7 footer passing you in a matching banana hammock, you will know I have arrived. I just need to cut a hole in this Bimini top so I can stick my head out.

Welcome to the society of us swamp and pluff mud worshipers.

I really enjoy inshore fishing now more than I do offshore. The fish are more challenging to outwit, doesn’t take very much boat, money, tackle or preparation. I don’t have to beat my brains out, or leave the dock at 3 am. Fish all day for $10 in gas. Low maintenance, low storage, smaller towing vehicle, launch it yourself …

I should shut up now, the rest of yall just stay offshore and don’t crowd us pluff mudders

Pancakes Skinneej, pancakes. Round balls roll with the current. Pancakes stay on the bottom  You do got a lot to learn

Congrats, Skinneej, on the new to you boat. That rig should be a great inshore rig for shrimping, trout, or reds on the flats.

I’ll agree with Cracker Larry on the inshore only plan. Back when I fished offshore, it took a few days to get ready for a trip, then a few days to fix stuff that broke on the trip. Inshore is much easier.
