Skinnee-shrimpin' 10/7/2015

Got out there this morning for a bit and caught about 8 qts. Mostly large skrimps with some mediums mixed in. Many casts only got 6-8 shrimp, but had a handful of casts that had 20+ shrimp in there. We are still trying to figure things out, but we got enough for dinner!

Also, not sure if it’s any good for indication of the environment, but got several other critters too… Pinfish, 2 flounders (maybe 10"), several “soles”, weakfish, croaker, etc. Also had a mighty fine size horseshoe crab in there. Boy how exciting it is to wrestle one of those out of your net.

Hey Skinnee!

If you dont mind sharing, were you in Bulls Bay? Thinkin of hitting it myself latter this week, cabin fever killin me!!

Wondering if Bulls or Harbor would be the best bet … All opinions welcome here too!

Thanks for posting. I’m hoping to get up to BB on Monday. Had planned on going to Harbor w/ a big group on Friday, rethinking that w/ these still super tides from all the water flowing in…
Might try the Beaufort River when home w/ family this weekend…
