Poling a boat by yourself and fishing from the platform is by no means boring (I do it 5 times a week), but fishing the flats is a two man game and I’d like to fish with a buddy more often. Basically, this is for anyone, dudes with boats that can’t get skinny, dudes without boats that want to fish more, or dudes like me with flats boats that are a bit tired of fishing solo. Send me a PM if you want to fish a lot. I go out on average 4-5 days a week and I live on James Island, I fish all of the Charleston area but mostly the Kiawah/Stono, Folly/Morris areas.
Requirements:
None, however, a good angler that knows how to poll a boat is a bonus.
PM me or respond here!
Somebody has to want to fish! I was a little misleading as well, I reckon. I fish everywhere, not just flats. Jetties, harbor, cobia, tarpon (never caught one here), etc.
Man I sure wish I lived closer to Charleston. I just bought a new to me flats boat in January and am really interested in learning how to fish for tailing reds.
I live in Conway so as far south as I normally fish is Bulls Bay and that is a haul.

Open post like that will get you a mess of freeloaders.Better to join a club and then invite people to fish. You will be weeding out people like crazy until you hook up with some cool guys or gals.I would take you up on that but at my age would fall off the (**() platform or be hanging in the flats on your push pole as the boat gently glides away.

I wish I fell on the shells. I fell in boat, cut a flip onto floor. He laughed pretty hard.
I guess there was no video? Glad you were not seriously hurt though, humor at the expense of others is the best kind.

If I get a chance to come to Charlston I’ll get in touch. I do help with expenses.
I’d rather fish than eat.
