Someone a while back said that the fish were safe with him since he has a hard time catching them. I think I may have him beat, past three outings and skunked, not even a bite at Shem Creek. I fished there yesterday for four hours and this morning for three and no luck. About to get frustrated but any day on the water is a good day, even better day if you catch something. May have to sign up at Haddell’s for some fishing lessons.
You can always catch a buzz at Shem creek.
I have my fair share of strike outs as well. I find some cut shrimp and a bottom rig can help with the sting.

Artificial bait just did cut it this weekend, seems the one’s catching was all using live bait. I will try that the next time I make it to the coast.
That was me, Coastal. And I lived up to it over this past weekend as well. I think my neighbor/friend and I are up to four outings without producing.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more obsessed with something I’m so awful at. We’ll be hopefully going out with Capt. Geoff Bennett soon so he can teach us a few things and get a few laughs in the process.
