My wife and I fished around Paradise Island late morning and early afternoon. Threw mud minnows and some electric chicken grubs. No takers.
It was a beautiful day on the water, especially for December.
I need to learn the winter fishing holes. I never got skunked until I decided to fish all year round. Now I have been skunked the last 3 out of 4 times.
Any tips?

I got nothing on the minnows today also. A bud and I fished 7-10 spots, 2 of the holes produced. Funny thing was he caught fish at first spot (5 trout, 3 keepers), I caught them at other (6 trout:)… but we used exactly same type grub. The only difference, he had his grub turned opposite way (upside down), seemed more than a coincidence.
my advise would be cast them grubs till your wrist hurts and keep moving, also twitch it a little:)
