Hit south bulls bay this evening. Tried baiting and deep holing. Maybe a dozen shrimp. Not sure where people are catching them, but it ain’t where we were! Fwiw, we were on the left side of the channel about 3/4 of the way to Bull Island in 6 ft of water.

Was your net coming up muddy ? The shrimp don’t like pluff mud

Nope. It wasn’t hard sandy bottom, but not pluff mud either. I’d say a mix of the two.
