After 6 or 7 great fishing trips in Copahee Bay I got skunked there 2 weekends ago. There was a light brown scum that floated on the surface of the bay and it was driven by the wind into all my hot spots in the marshall grass. The tides were my favorite, an in coming tide from dead low. Was it the scum that shut down the reds or just a slow day in Copahee? Didn’t spook any thing either in the shallow water. Afterwards, I realized that I should have looked for cleaner water upwind.
