Got out for a short period and what I thought would be a warmer morning was spoiled by the hi winds and throbbing fingers. Hit a few but couldn’t quite set-hook with this crosswind and line every where. Out going was rushing which made it hard trying to control the boat. I did manage one healthy white bass.

I was just about to report a big ole Skunk myself, until I saw yours. Mind if I attach another skunk? I put up a photo on instagram around Noon, that said “where is this warm weather I was expecting?” It was freezing.
Short of it:
Molasses Creek
Visibility was spectacular. Gin Clear as they say.
1.5 hours before low and only an hour after. I couldn’t take it anymore.
0 fish.
More specifically, 0 bait activity, 0 birds looking for bait. Only thing I heard was wind.
Quick question, if FatRat doesn’t mind me asking on his thread. At the turn of the tide, the mouth of Molasses is sand bottom. The incoming turned the water fairly stained, almost to a choc milk color. What do you do with grub presentations when you can visibly see a drastic change? Or do you just pick up and find another spot?
Ended up going up to the North Edisto with a friend and didn’t have the luck we thought we would…but you can’t catch them doing different stuff if you don’t try different stuff right. Besides the weather was so nice it was worth the drive.

I fished all day at Bushy yesterday. Tried everything in the tackle box with no bites on the end of low and beginning of High tide. Caught a couple big mullet in the cast net to try cut bait. No luck. Headed up river and fished for cats with my cut bait and got 3 nice blues 15-20 pounders right before dark.

J-Dizzle, I fished there Saturday with a bigboy whom I saw twice but pulled the hook/ slightly straightened. I prefer the incoming at bushy and as you know I fish those structure hard. Loose a few tackle but catch a few reds. can’t find a trout nowhere in bushy.
