SKUNKED

2 bites from what appeared to be pinfish. Fished 6 spots over 3.5 hours. Water temps in the low to mid 60’s. Awesome.

After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.

i think the lady that paid 450 feels that way also. Thankfully they are repeat clients that said, "well next time in July we can target sharks, that's what we wanted to do anyway!"

After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.

I apologize for finding comfort in the arms of others’ skunkings. Sorry, Fritz. I’m sure the bounce back will be nice.

not many people will post a report of a skunking.

After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.

Oh you mean like myself and Fatrat have done a few times over the last few years?

Someone is bored today lol

After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.

I take no pleasure in your being skunked but, it does make me feel a little less inadequate as a fisherman when a guide will actually report getting skunked.

If I didn’t report skunks I’d have little to report. That is if I actually went fishing.

You’re a swell guy Capt Fritz, posting a fake report just to make Bonzo feel better.Hey Bonz ,I got skunked the other day also.

Had a similar day yesterday. Glassy in the AM… seemed promising. Nothing but a horseshoe crab for 3.5 hours. Finally gave in and caught a few whiting so the Father/Daughter pair would know what it felt like to have something besides a small cluster of oysters fighting back. We did have a bit of excitement though. We hit about 10 cownose rays while running a shallow creek. Thump Thump Thump… come off plane and they’re jumping out of the water. Had to idle for a half mile so we wouldn’t take one to the face…

Getting skunked inshore is a stool pot lot better than getting skunked after riding 70+ miles.

Last 2 times out inshore skunked, ventured out to capers for first time the other day and couldn’t stop catching BSBs. I’d almost frgtten what it felt like to catch a fish.

but isn’t it true that you never skunked on a harbor cruise?
