Slam fun in the Cuppah!

Buddy & I did a no-rain dance and took the kids out this morning. It worked! A little schnizzle for about 5 minutes but other than that - beautiful day!:sunglasses:

Fished the Cooper and corresponding creeks up, down and sideways. Caught about 20 fish total. Mike and I got a slam, Mike’s son got a slam and my boy got a nice 29" Piggy!

Caught fish on both sides of low on MM/jighead combo. Tried topwater and artificials to no avail. It was a blast and the kids even got a swim in with the water lurking in the low 70’s.

E-dog with his Piggy. He just started tying his own knots. THEY WORK!

One of many pecker trout

E with a nice slotty

D with a little red. Both boys born on the same day, 8/22/01! They share a brain - which is distrubing!

D with a 15.5" flounder

They ain’t right!

Looks like the new bote is treating you good! Ill be on the cooper in the morning loaded up with chicken livers looking for those pigs! I did well Friday at sunset and seen Mr. Ford out on the water. . .

I have personally heard wives of university of clemson fans call them “oh god” trout.

Great pix. Thank you for sharing V

Good stuff as usual, Vinman.

It is always nice to see you and the kids having good fish tales to tell in the future. It looks like the crew is having a lil trouble getting back in the boat.I have a rope ladder I used on my old boat, nothing wrong with it if you would like it let me know. Just a note they are tricky at first but may add for a few giggles.
