Hit it early Saturday morning fishing a few creeks and got a few trouts 16-18" spottails and 21" Flounder. Was a bit chilly but the bite was great.
Sunday started off with the trouts as it ended on saturday. Once I thawed out the bite was on and the spottails were somewhat aggressive. 27-30"ers and a few break offs in the trees. 5 trouts in the 15" slot and back home by 11:00am. Both days caught the tide an hour or two before it’s peak and drifted with the tide barely using the trolling motor other than to keep me near the bank.
