Yesterday fish near the landing because it was windy. Caught one flounder
Tried again Sunday with one red and thought I had a world record flounder. Threw up on the grass and thought I was stuck until my line slowly swam away. After 15 to 20 mins of trying to get this mini sub up it turned out to be a gator. Got him up a second time with a shot and cut my line.
That 7 or so footer put my gear to the test and my gear prevailed. After all that rain the water is murky and trash floating every where

That’s fishing

I was out there on Saturday and Sunday, Saturday got out there about 1 hour before high tide started fishing the creeks hoping for some reds but instead hooked into two stripers, total surprise to catch them so far up in the creeks. Sunday got out late right at high tide and hooked three flounders, one was a doormat that I lost at the side of my yak … darn it! left the net in the truck! Starting to gain a little knowledge of the area, but still have not found the Reds there yet!
Pretty much same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. Capnsandbar and I were fishing and my cork just slowly went under water and started swimming out to deeper water, just like the 28lber had done the week before. I fought the thing for a couple minutes, saw my popping cork. Grabbed the cork and slowly lifted with Capnsandbar ready with net behind me. I about messed myself when an alligator hand came out of the water! My next reaction was… ****…that’s my last cork! I got a Dr. in the boat with me, I’m gonna get my cork back!!

Well, CrackerLarry, don’t have a tag and besides this was a big boy and I need these fingers to continue fishing.Redfishingjunkie I’m certain I passed you in the mouth of one of my popular creek on Sunday. I know that feeling of leaving that net.
